2023 EVENT DETAILS!
The 13 Black Towns Tour is growing as a traveling Culture and Music Festival, designed to revitalize Oklahoma's Historically All-black towns. This year's tour takes place Aug. 31 - Sept. 3, 2023. It is led by the Young Black Mayor and includes the 5th annual Black Towns Motorcycle Tour. This unique tour allows participants to visit all 13 Black Towns over Labor Day weekend. You do not have to ride a motorcycle, all vehicles are welcome. The travel begins at 8am in Langston, Oklahoma on Sept. 1st and ends in Tatums, Oklahoma on Sept. 2nd with artists, entertainment, food and culture at the Black Towns Music Festival. Learn the phenomenal hidden legacy of towns where black people attained the highest level of FREEDOM and protection in all of America. The TOUR & FESTIVAL REGISTRATION is free.

To attain complete restoration of the 13 black towns in Oklahoma promoting and preserving the legacy of black towns nationwide.

Among the mayor's first priorities is to raise capital to get the town converted from propane to natural gas, which is less expensive.
